“We met Penny when she founded Farm-Able in 2013 and have absolutely enjoyed taking Veterans on our farm. They learnt from us, we learnt from them. They came as participants and ended up as real friends. We worked together on various projects on the farm such a pointing and painting a barn for events, laying a roadway into a barn, teaching about calf rearing and development and renovating of calf house and much more. Many of the Veterans have kept in touch with us and are so grateful for the times we spent together, we would throughly recommend it to any farmer to see just what multi skilled our Veterans have and how it can benefit both parties.“
